Job Summary
Prometheus Group is hiring for a Business Development Manager to lead and coach the North American BDR team. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this role will be based out of our Raleigh HQ.
Responsibilities:
- Support and develop new sales hires to ensure training needs are being met
- Continuously manage performance through coaching, development of sales skills, competitive positioning, motivation, goal setting, and day-to-day direction
- Coach individuals on how to engage potential customers over phone, email, and other communication methods
- Responsible for quarterly and annual services sales goals
- Establish best practices, tools, and processes for penetrating into Fortune 500 -1000 companies
- Work closely with sales leadership to develop sales strategies and account-based marketing initiatives
- Support and develop the Inside Sales Training Supervisor(s) to ensure the training needs of Inside Sales are being met.
- Work with Sales Enablement to support initial and on-going training
- Manage reporting requirements necessary to support training and development of employees.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
- Experience training and coaching sales individuals
- Analytical, process-driven person
- Direct selling experience preferred
- Experience setting metrics for teams and holding them accountable for exceeding them
- Experience in leveraging CRM software, preferably Salesforce, to manage high performing teams
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Great communication and presentation skills
